Thank you for choosing Woodland Trails Resort for your seasonal campground. Please familiarize yourself with the following rules and regulations.
- All Resort buildings
are non-smoking.
- Parents are responsible
for children at all times.
- Quiet time is from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. All children
under 18 must be at their sites by 10:00 p.m.
- Game Room in the Lodge
is available for use during posted hours. Game Room
regulations are posted in Lodge and must be observed at
all times. Store/Office hours are posted inside on the office
door.
- Aqua Deck rules are
as follows: no swimming under the deck, no headfirst diving,
and no pushing. No more than 5 children or 3 adults are
allowed on the deck at any one time. The ladder must be
used for access onto the Aqua Deck, climbing up the sides
is prohibited. Keep sharp objects away from the Aqua Deck.
- Wi-Fi is available in the lodge.
- Please don't feed the
raccoons. Make sure your garbage is secure every evening.
Compress all garbage before putting in the dumpster.
When putting trash in the dumpsters please keep the lids
closed.
- Please follow the
disposal instructions posted in the fish cleaning house.
Clean up when you are done, including the walls & floors.
- No
lot extends to lake. Lake frontage is available for
use by all
resort guests.
- Tenant must pre-register all guests with the Resort at
least 48 hours before their arrival (see Section 7 of Rental
Agreement for specific details). All day guests must leave
the resort by 10:00 p.m. Guests are not allowed to bring
pets, watercraft, or ATVs.
- Please instruct guests
and family members to respect the lots of other campers
by not cutting through.
- Lawn mowing will be
done by riding mower. Personal items will not be moved
for lawn mowing, including picnic tables and landscaping.
You are responsible for trimming around your site.
- One campfire ring is allowed per site. Do not move your
campfire ring without permission. Do not leave unburned
trash in your fire ring. To clean your fire ring put the
cold ashes in a bag and throw in the dumpster. Do
not dump ash in the trees near your campsite or in the woods.
- Tenant will provide a copy of trailer insurance to Resort
each year.
- Selling your trailer
on-site can only be done with written consent of the Resort.
Consent may be given or withheld at Resort's sole discretion.
A 5% selling surcharge ($500 minimum) will be paid by Tenant
to the Resort before completion of Site Rental Agreement
with new tenant. If you intend to sell your trailer on-site
you must follow the following steps: 1) Inform the Resort
of your intent to sell, our qualified waiting list customers
have first priority in purchasing trailers on-site; 2) Any
and all potential buyers must be approved by the Resort
before purchase can be completed. Conditions used to determine
on-site salability include, but are not limited to, age
(typically 10 years old or less), condition of trailer and
condition of buildings (decks, sheds, 3-season porches,
etc.) included in the sale. Boat slips are not included
when selling on site.
- Dogs
may be allowed with prior approval and must be leashed at
all times.
You are responsible for picking up dog refuse at the time
it is created. Absolutely no tossing dog refuse in
the lake! No dogs are allowed on the beach or playground
areas. Dogs must be under your control at all times
(this includes excessive barking). You are responsible
for any damage or injury caused by your dog. For the
protection of all our guests, we reserve the right to ask
you to remove your dog from the premises at any time.
- Watering your lawn
using resort wells is prohibited. To minimize evaporation,
water flowers only before 10:00 a.m. or after 8:00 p.m.
- You may wash your
trailers a maximum of twice a year (don't forget to protect
our lake's water quality by only using cleaners that are
phosphorus free).
- Only lawn fertilizer
without phosphorus (the middle number on your fertilizer
bag) is approved for Resort use. One pound of phosphorus
= 500 pounds of algae! Fertilizer can only be applied when
no rain is forecast for a minimum of 48 hours after application.
- Use of shampoos and
soaps while you are in the lake is prohibited unless they
are phosphorus free.
- Weed killer can only
be used when wind speed is below 5 miles an hour and no
rain is forecast for 72 hours after application.
- Absolutely no cutting
or chopping trees on the resort property. (See Sections
6 and 10 of Rental Agreement for details.)
- Use of ATVs is prohibited anywhere on resort property.
Personal Watercraft (PWC) are prohibited without prior approval
of Resort. Operators of PWCs must follow all laws in effect
in the State of Minnesota. PWCs must idle a minimum of 150
feet from resort shoreline and/or docks and swimming areas
before increasing throttle. PWCs are prohibited from beaching
on shore near south swim area or by the north beach. PWCs
must be stored on a lift or boat trailer overnight. Overly
loud PWCs are not permitted at the Resort. Because our primary
concern is for the safety of our guests we may order removal
of PWCs from the resort for violation of these rules or
for operator misconduct.
